Adedeji Onitiri, M.D.
Dr. Adedeji Onitiri earned his bachelor’s degree in biology and physical sciences at the University of Houston in Houston, Texas – from where he graduated with honors. He went on to earn a medical degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Mexico and completed his internship in family medicine at Hospital Pavia Yauco in Yauco, Puerto Rico.
Dr. Onitiri has vast experience in research and has been practicing as a primary care physician for approximately 10 years. He is a certified diabetes care and education specialist and is also certified with the National Committee for Quality Assurance’s (NCQA) Diabetes Recognition and Heart/Stroke Recognition Programs – placing him in an elite group of clinicians who are publicly recognized for using evidence-based measures to provide quality care to patients who have suffered from diabetes, cardiovascular disease, or a stroke.
In addition to English, Dr. Onitiri is fluent in Spanish, French, and Yoruba.
